The 507479 is a 10 Gigabit Fiber SFP+ Optical Transceiver Module from Intellinet. This module is ideal for connecting two buildings iwht 10 GbE speeds with a single mode fiber at a distance of up to 10 km. It's mini-GBIC form factor is contained in a metal housing that reduces electromagnetic interference and increases their durability. It's compatible with any Intellinet SFP+ equipped network switch or any other MSA compliant SFP+ enabled switch. The 507479 is hot-pluggable so it can be installed without having to reboot you network switch for uninterrupted network traffic.
