Merchandise Return Policy

Altex proudly offers the highest quality components & products. However in the unlikely event that one should fail we have established the following policy to help speed up the return and/or replacement process. As always we would like to thank you for your continued patronage.

Merchandise Return & Warranty Policy

An Original Receipt is required for all Returns, Exchanges, and Warranty Services.

All returns and exchanges must include all contents included in the original packaging.

Returns and exchanges are valid for 14 days from the original date of purchase on qualified items.

Altex offers a 90-day limited warranty, which covers defects in materials or workmanship in originally purchased products from date of original purchase. Product may be replaced or repaired at Altex and/or the manufacturers discretion.

A 15% Restocking Fee is charged on returned products.

Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items:
Any Special Order Item
Batteries
CPU’s and Memory not installed by a qualified Altex Technician
Custom Cable Assemblies
Items that are Missing Original Contents, or Retail Packaging
Items that have been Altered, Defaced, Modified
Labor
Media
Pre-Cut Wire and Cable
Printers - Open or Used
Software
Test Equipment

Credit Cards:
All refunds on purchases made with credit cards will only be credited back to the same account as the original purchase was made on. In the event that the account has been closed we will need verification from the credit card provider to proceed.

Checks:
Refunds on purchases made with checks require that the check be fully processed which may take up to four to ten business days. After the check has been processed Altex will issue a refund check matching the customer information on the original check.

Net 30 Terms:
Purchases made on accounts with Net 30 Terms will be credited to the original account only and applied to that invoice.

 
Agents or Employees of Altex are not authorized to modify or deviate from stated warranties/policies.

Return authorization is required on all returns or exchanges, please feel free to contact our Customer Service Department to assist you in the event you wish to return or exchange an item.
