Ordering
Online ordering is now easier than ever.  To place an online order, all you need is an Altex online account.  Shop for all of your technology needs and simply add items to your shopping cart by clicking the "Add To Basket" button located in the product listing.  Whenever you are ready to finalize your order, just click the "Checkout Now" button in your basket.  Select your shipping requirements, enter your billing and shipping information, and then confirm payment information and order completion and you are on your way. Altex Electronics accepts all major credit cards, personal checks, and net terms based on credit approval. Your information is collected on a highly-secured site (SSL 128-bit encryption.) If you want to pay by cashier's check or money order, please contact us at (800) 531-5369 or locally 210-637-3200, and ask to speak with a salesperson. Please Note: Credit Card Orders, your bill-to and ship-to addresses MUST MATCH or be on record with your credit card company or your order WILL BE DELAYED. For personal check / EFT Orders, until the funds transfer is complete, your order will not be processed. This may take four business days. In the event that there is a problem in retrieving funds from your account, the waiting period may be longer.

Alternate Shipping Carriers
Altex reserves the right to ship via a different shipping carrier than the one selected when an order is placed. We do this only to expedite orders in some cases where the shipping costs will be less for the alternate carrier - and the nominal delivery time will be the same or faster.

Multiple Shipping Locations
Most orders are filled from our San Antonio warehouse. However, we may have some products in stock only in our other locations. Therefore, it is possible that your order may arrive in multiple boxes from multiple locations on different days.

International Ordering
We welcome secure international orders All international orders must be paid using wire transfer as payment method. Credit Cards will be accepted on a case by case basis. Prices are in US dollars. All fees and duties associated with orders will not be included in the shipping but will be due to the local customs agency in order to receive the product. Upon placing the order Altex Electronics LTD. will respond with the Routing number for the Wire Transfer.

International Shipping
Please contact our sales department for special international shipping arrangements. International sales and shipping are subject to approval of Altex management pursuant to domestic and international laws.

Product Display

We have made every effort to display the products featured on this Site as accurately as possible. Please note however that the colors we use, as well as the display and color capabilities of your particular computer monitor, will greatly affect the colors actually seen on the screen. The Site cannot be responsible for the limitations of your monitor's display of any color, texture, or detail of actual merchandise. Domestic Shipping

Orders received before 3:00 p.m. Mon - Fri are usually shipped the same day. Delivery of merchandise may take up to two weeks, depending on freight method selected and product availability. Your credit card will not be charged until the order ships.

Returns and Restocking

Original receipt is required for all returns, exchanges and warranty repair services. We accept returns and exchanges fourteen (14) days from date of purchase. Certain items are non-returnable and non-refundable. These non-returnable, non-refundable products include: Special order items, CPU's & memory not installed by Altex technicians, labor, software, opened & used printers, media, test equipment, batteries, custom cable assemblies, pre-cut wire or cable, and any item modified, altered, defaced or missing retail packaging with original contents. A 15% restocking fee may be charged on returned product.

Altex agents or employees are not authorized to modify or deviate from this warranty, nor make additional warranties binding on Altex.

Check/Credit Card/Net 30 and Refund Guidelines

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Refunds on purchases made with a credit card will only be credited to that same account on which the purchase was made. If the account has been closed, we will need verification from the credit card provider and advised which card to issue the credit against.

If you purchase a product pursuant to our special Net 30 customer program, your return will be credited to the original invoiced account only and applied to that invoice.

We do not accept checks as payment for any orders placed via the internet/website.

The Altex mark, Altex and Design logo, and other trademarks, service marks, labels, product names and service names (collectively, the "Marks") are owned or licensed by Altex. Disclaimer of Warranties

Altex is a Distributor only. Products sold by Altex are not manufactured by Altex.  Altex assigns and passes through to the customer any manufacturer warranties (if present) and customer acknowledges that it shall have recourse under such warranties and only against manufacturers of the product.  Altex expressly disclaims all other warranties and only against manufacturers of the product.  Altex expressly disclaims all other warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non0infringement.  The warranties set forth herein give you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state, if a product has been purchased for consumer use as defined by 15. U.S.C.§  2301, any implied warranty or warranties shall expire on expiration of any express warranty.

Waiver and Limitation of Liability

Altex offers a 90-day limited warranty, which covers defects in materials or workmanship in originally purchased product from date of original purchase. Altex's sole obligation under this warranty is product replacement or repair at Altex and/or manufacturer's sole discretion.

You hereby acknowledge that the warranty and the accompanying obligations and liabilities of Altex are exclusive and you hereby waive all other remedies, warranties, guarantees or liabilities, express or implied, arising by law or otherwise, whether or not occasioned by the negligence of Altex. You acknowledge by your use of products ordered via the Site that your use of the products and any reliance upon them is at your sole risk, and that you assume full responsibility for all costs associated with all necessary servicing or repairs of any equipment you use in connection with the products.

In no event shall altex of its affiliates be liable to you for damages which exceed the purchase price of the products purchase by you.  Altex has priced its products upon this understanding, and you hereby acknowledge the understanding, that neither Altex nor any of it’s affiliates will be responsible or liable for any form of consequential, incidental, statutory, punitive, exemplary or indirect damages of whatever kind or type arising from any type of commercial, business, environmental, tort, warranty, contract, strict liability or other causes arising directly or indirectly from or in connection with any product and/or its use, except consequential damages for any injury to a person in the case of products purchased for consumer us as defined by 15 U.S.C 2301.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold completely harmless Altex and its affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising from or related to your use of the products purchase vi the site.

Modification

Altex may change these Ordering Policies at any time. Any change shall be effective immediately upon its posting on the Site. You agree that you will be bound by these Ordering Policies, however and whenever changed, whether you have actual or constructive notice of, and whether you have ordered, used or received products after, the changes.

Severability

If any provision of these Ordering Policies is deemed unlawful, void, voidable or unenforceable for any reason, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Ordering Policies and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining provisions.

Governing Law and Venue

The Site can be accessed from all 50 states, as well as from other countries around the world. As each of these jurisdictions has laws and regulations that may differ from those of Texas, by accessing this Web site both you and Altex agree that these Ordering Policies, the entire relationship between you and Altex, all matters relating to use of this Site, and any litigation or other legal proceeding between you and Altex (whether grounded in tort, contract, law or equity) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without giving effect to its choice of law rules.
