Since Wi-Fi cables connect point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless LAN systems that run from the transmitting/ receiving radios on the tower to the base station's internal electronics, they must be especially rugged. For that reason, Belden’s Wi-Fi 1300A cable has a very thick (.030”), UV-resistant PVC jacket, that makes the cable ideal for outdoor use. Because this cable includes Belden’s patented Beldfoil® shield — which is bonded to the jacket’s inner wall — it also provides exceptionally stable electrical performance, even in high-traffic RF environments.
